Phone Charges

This guide explains all phone-related charges in Voxifi, including number rental and per-minute calling costs.

Phone Number Monthly Fees

Each phone number you hold has a monthly rental fee of $10.00/month.

When Charges Occur

  • Purchase: Full month charged immediately on purchase
  • Monthly renewal: Charged on the same day each month

Estimating Monthly Number Costs

Monthly Phone Cost = Number Count × $10.00

Example: 3 numbers
  = 3 × $10.00
  = $30.00/month

Call Costs

How Calls Are Charged

Each call's cost is made up of:

Call costs are posted to your balance after each call completes. The exact cost for each call is visible in Call History.

Duration Billing

Voice minutes are rounded up to the nearest minute:

Call duration: 2 min 15 sec
Billed duration: 3 minutes

Viewing Phone Charges

In Transaction History

Phone number fees appear in your transaction history:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. View the Transactions tab
  3. Look for entries with type Phone Number Fee

Insufficient Balance

If your balance is insufficient for a phone number renewal, the number may be suspended. Add funds promptly to avoid losing the number.

If a number is suspended and not recovered quickly, it may be released and become unavailable.

Q: Are call rates the same for all AI agents? A: Yes, per-minute rates are the same regardless of which agent makes the call.

Q: Do I pay for failed calls? A: You are only charged for connected calls. Calls that fail before connecting are not charged.

Q: Can I port my existing number? A: Contact [email protected] to enquire about number porting.

Q: Are there volume discounts? A: Contact [email protected] to discuss high-volume pricing.

Troubleshooting

Unexpected Charges

If you see unexpected phone charges:

  1. Check the number count in Phone Numbers
  2. Look for recent purchases or renewals in transaction history
  3. Contact support with the transaction details

Number Not Renewing

If a number didn't renew:

  1. Check that your balance was sufficient at the renewal date
  2. Look for a suspended status in Phone Numbers
  3. Contact support if you need help recovering the number
